Mysterious Journey II Hints
How do I get across the spinning bridge?
of 11: Walk on the path to the right -- it will take you underneath the bridge. Look for things that you can interact with.
of 11: Each segment of the bridge has a thorn on its stalk. Click them to see how it affects the spinning bridge segments.
of 11: The thorns on all the plants -- except the one at the farthest end (from where you first walked down) -- will affect the speed of the bridge segment rotation. When the thorn is pointing down, that segment of the bridge will rotate slower; when the thorn is pointing up, the bridge segment will rotate faster.
of 11: The thorn on the last plant, however, does something different. When you move this one, it will stop the rotation of all the bridge segments.
of 11: Try starting and stopping the rotation of the bridge segments. Make sure to look up (especially at the one with the start-stop thorn) and observe what happens.
of 11: When the segment nearest to the land (the one with the start-stop thorn) stops, it looks like it's lined up properly to be used as a bridge.
of 11: All the segments stop at roughly the same time -- even if that leaves them pointing in the wrong direction (except, of course for the one with the start-stop thorn).
of 11: Your goal is to figure out how to get all the segments stopped so that they will be usable as a bridge.
of 11: Since most of the bridge segments have two speeds, that shouldn't be too difficult.
of 11: Starting with the bridge segments closest to the one with the start-stop button, click the thorn for faster and slower speeds (as appropriate), until it looks like it's synchronized with the end one. You may want to stop the bridge in order to check if the first one is synchronized properly.
of 11: Move down the row, working on one segment at a time, until all the pieces are synchronized. When they are, it will be possible to cross the bridge.
