How do I use the decoder?
1 of 7: When you first find the decoder, it is not fully assembled.
2 of 7: Look around the space station for a part that can be placed on it.
3 of 7: The part in question is a disc -- it can be found in the hallway directly across from the crate with the symbols.
4 of 7: Once the disc is in place, the decoder will move in four separate, concentric rings.
5 of 7: You'll have to rotate the rings on the decoder to set them to the numbers found on the crate.
6 of 7: Starting from the outer ring and working to the inner one, move the rings until the gap in each ring points to the matching symbol found on the crate (the symbols on the crate should be read from left to right).
7 of 7: Make note of the shape and color of the four new symbols that are revealed by the decoder (i.e., reading through the openings in the four rings).
