What can I find here?

  • 1 of 15: There are four towers with a pathway connecting the tops of each.  On the walkway at the very top of each tower, is a set of symbols.  In addition, there is a fifth tower (roughly in the center of the other four) that is not connected to the other four by any walkway.
  • 2 of 15: Where have you seen the symbols that are on the four tower platforms before?
  • 3 of 15: The symbols represent base-12 numbers.
  • 4 of 15: There are four towers, and four numbers.  Can you "decode" the values of each of the base-12 numbers?
  • 5 of 15: The first number is "28" in base 12.
  • 6 of 15: The second number is "14" in base 12.
  • 7 of 15: The third number is "08" in base 12.
  • 8 of 15: The last number is "04" in base 12.
  • 9 of 15: The last two numbers are the same in base 12 as they are in decimal (8 and 4, respectively).
  • 10 of 15: The first two can be "translated" to decimal quite easily.
  • 11 of 15: "28" means "two 'twelves' and eight 'ones' " (or 2 x 12 + 8).
  • 12 of 15: "14" means "one 'twelve' and four 'ones' " (or 12 + 4).
  • 13 of 15: The first two numbers, in decimal, are 32 and 16.
  • 14 of 15: The fifth tower may be the clue.
  • 15 of 15: But how can you access -- or interact with -- the fifth tower?  Continue to explore this entire area.
