Mysterious Journey II Hints

How can I repair the flower bridge?

  • 1 of 13: The flower petals are drooping and need to be lifted in order to walk on them.
  • 2 of 13: Once again, there is a nearby plant with buttons that can help.  It is located to the left of the bridge (on left as you are looking at the bridge).
  • 3 of 13: Each button can only be pressed once; then it will stop working.
  • 4 of 13: Except, of course, for the large button in the top center of the plant, which is a reset button.  The reset button resets the petals and reactivates the other buttons so you can try again.
  • 5 of 13: Each of the other buttons can have one of two functions.
  • 6 of 13: Either it can lift the flower petals up...
  • 7 of 13: ...Or it makes the petals go down again (if all petals are already down, it may appear as though this type of button is not doing anything).
  • 8 of 13: Go through all the buttons, keeping track of which ones lift up the flower petals.  In the top row, for example, the far left button lifts the petals up; the next button drops them.  The button just to the right of the reset button drops the petals, the one on the far right lifts them up.
  • 9 of 13: The second row from the top is: Up, down, up, down (from left to right).
  • 10 of 13: The third row is: Down, up, down, down.
  • 11 of 13: The bottom row is: Up, down, up, down.
  • 12 of 13: In order to lift all the petals, and use the bridge, you'll need to press all the buttons that lift the petals; while avoiding all the buttons that drop them again. 
  • 13 of 13: The solution is as follows: for the top row, press the first and fourth buttons; for the second row, press the first and third buttons; for the third row, press the second button; and for the bottom row, press the first and third buttons.  If done correctly, you should be able to cross the bridge.
