Might and Magic VI Hints

I've gotten all six lords to support me. Why can't I enter the Oracle?

  • 1 of 13: One of the six representatives is not voting as his lord instructed.
  • 2 of 13: Slicker Silvertongue is disobeying Lord Humphrey.
  • 3 of 13: Return to Castle Ironfist and tell Humphrey about this.
  • 4 of 13: He will send you to the Superior Temple of Baa to cure Silvertongue.
  • 5 of 13: That temple is located to the northeast of the town of Kriegspire.  You will need the cloak that Humphrey gave you, to be able to enter the temple.  Note that the cloak won't protect you from the people inside the temple -- you'll still have to fight them.
  • 6 of 13: What you're looking for is in a double-locked chest to the southwest of the entrance.
  • 7 of 13: You will find the keys that you need on dead bodies around the temple.
  • 8 of 13: One is the "high sorcerer's key" (on a sorcerer), and the other is a "high cleric's key" (on a cleric).
  • 9 of 13: If you have any trouble getting through the doors in this location, a sign should tell you what to do.
  • 10 of 13: You can only safely open all of the doors in temple by using a character with expert perception.
  • 11 of 13: Once you have the two keys, use them to unlock the chest.  You will find a note showing that Silvertongue is not under the influence of the temple of Baa.  Instead, he is a traitor.
  • 12 of 13: Take the note to Humphrey in Castle Ironfist.
  • 13 of 13: He will then tell you to go on to Free Haven, where Silvertongue will disappear.  You can now enter the Oracle.
