Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor Hints

How do I get to Mount Nighon?

  • 1 of 10: First of all, before you go, you may want to wait until you have a character with the skill points and rank to learn Master Water Magic.  The Master teacher is located in Mount Nighon, so it's much easier to return there if you learn the skill and use Town Portal to get back and forth in the future. Otherwise, you'll need to walk there every time you want to return until you finally decide to learn Master Water Magic.
  • 2 of 10: You might have heard about some underground passages that lead there.
  • 3 of 10: They start in Stone City, in the Barrow Downs.
  • 4 of 10: Head to the north side of the city and look for a pair of elevators that lead down from the temple area.
  • 5 of 10: The exit from Stone City to the Nighon Tunnels is on the north fork of these underground passages, at (-7763, 7716).
  • 6 of 10: Once there, you will need to head through the entire set of Nighon Tunnels. The warlocks are friendly here as long as you don't attack them, although you do need to watch out for the gogs running around.
  • 7 of 10: Start by heading roughly to the north in the Nighon tunnels until you can go north no further, then turn to the east.
  • 8 of 10: The exit from the Nighon Tunnels will be to the south in the eastern half (east of the point where you entered), at (9531, -1213).
  • 9 of 10: Once you get out of the Nighon Tunnels, you still have one more set of tunnels to go through -- the ones in Thunderfist Mountain.  Unless you have a strong party, I recommend that you stay in here only as long as you need to and just dash to the nearest exit.
  • 10 of 10: From the Stone City entrance, head north and west.  That is, just stay as far to the north as you can, while moving west when you have to.  You should reach an exit at (-11074, 5066) shortly.  This exit will take you to one of the above-ground locations on Mount Nighon.
