Where is the Oscillation Overthruster?

  • 1 of 7: Before I proceed with the hints, note that this is the final puzzle in the game.  You may want to take some extra time to solve it yourself before you read the answer in this file.  But go forward to the next hint if you think you need it.
  • 2 of 7: It's located on the bridge of the ship, to the south side.
  • 3 of 7: To get there, you'll first need to be able to open the doors on The Lincoln.
  • 4 of 7: Then, head into the large central room that has catwalks running along the edges and in the center of the room.  One way to reach this room is to use the lift on the south side of the first room you entered on the Lincoln, and then head south until you're in the central room.  Or head out of the first room via the southeast door, which led to the power controls, and turn south at an intersection.  Take the stairs up into the central room.
  • 5 of 7: From there, either of the sets of doors on the south side of the room lead to the bridge.  You will need to have the power on to use the buttons to open the door.
  • 6 of 7: The Oscillation Overthruster is located in what looks like a star-filled well in the center of the bridge.
  • 7 of 7: The precise map coordinates are (4544, 9273).  Click on the well to get the Overthruster, and you can then return it to finish the game.
