Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor Hints
Sorcerer to Wizard
1 of 7: You will get this quest from Thomas Grey in the School of Sorcery in the Bracada Desert. He asks you to find six parts for a golem that are scattered around the lands of Erathia and bring them back to him. When you complete your golem, you can also take it back to your castle.
2 of 7: You actually don't have to search all of the various areas to find the parts. There is a hint that will help you.
3 of 7: Start by searching just the Bracada Desert first.
4 of 7: Look near the group of teleporters in the center of the desert. You will find a chest there with a bad golem head (which you can just leave behind) and a scroll talking about the golem parts.
5 of 7: The chest tells you that there are two parts in the Bracada Desert (including the bad head), two in Deyja, and one in each of Avlee, the Barrow Downs, and Tatalia. Each part is also contained in a chest.
6 of 7: When you get each part, you can add it to the golem and clear up some inventory space by talking to the (as of yet unassembled) golem. Be careful if you have the bad head, since you can't control which part is assembled in which order, and I don't know if there's any way to put the good head in once you've selected the bad head.
7 of 7: After you've assembled all the parts, return to Thomas Grey for your promotion. You can also leave your golem in Castle Harmondale. He's of no use to your party while walking around with you.
