The Obelisks

  • 1 of 10: There are fourteen obelisks -- one in each above-ground map area and the three dungeon cities.  Each obelisk contains a portion of a message.  If you collect all of the messages and decipher it, you can find a treasure with 100,000 GP, some artifacts, and a few random items.  But you must find the messages within the game before you can get to the treasure.
  • 2 of 10: Once you've found all of the messages, write them down on a grid and see what you get.
  • 3 of 10: Take the first letter from obelisk 1, then the first letter from obelisk 2, and so on to obelisk 14, and then repeat for the second through eighth letters of each of the obelisks.
  • 4 of 10: The message will spell out "Pirates five, one survive, hide the gold, under the sand, white flower, witching hour, bloom upon, a haunted land."
  • 5 of 10: There are a couple of lands that might be described as haunted.  Fortunately, the treasure is marked, so look for the markers in the appropriate areas.
  • 6 of 10: Try looking around Evenmorn Island.
  • 7 of 10: There's a circle of stones to the southwest of the main island at about (-1958, -13259).
  • 8 of 10: You will only be able to get the treasure at the witching hour, though.
  • 9 of 10: That's the hour after midnight.
  • 10 of 10: Wait around the stone circle until midnight on any day, and a white flower will appear, if you've collected all 14 messages and have them in your autonotes.  Click on the flower to get the treasure.
