Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor Hints
Mind Magic
1 of 4: Mind Magic has some nice spells, but not all of them are as good as they sound. In particular, I found the Grand Master spell of Enslave mainly just got creatures to stand in a corner and wait until the spell wore off -- unlike Berserk, which actually makes them attack the nearest creature. Grand Mastery in Mind Magic still makes Berserk more powerful, and if you don't have Light Magic to cast Paralysis, Enslave provides useful benefits, if not the ones promised in the manual. Otherwise, a Master skill gets you roughly the same as a Grand Master skill.
