Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor Hints
Learning
1 of 5: Learning isn't too great of a skill, because it only affects the experience that you receive from killing monsters, not from solving any quests. Much of your experience in MM7 comes from finishing quests, not killing monsters along the way, and you won't profit from Learning with those bonuses.
If you do decide to take the skill, though, note that the NPC's that add 15% experience, for example, actually give you a 15-point bonus to your Learning skill. So if you have an Expert in Learning, that 15% doubles to 30. If you decide to boost the skill, going to higher ranks can get you much more of a bonus than you might first have thought.
2 of 5: Learn: elemental (fire, earth, water, air) guilds
3 of 5: Expert (requires 2,000 GP, level 4): Isaac Applebee in the Bracada Desert (on a ridge near the map center) or Agatha Putnam in Deyja (west-central section)
4 of 5: Master (requires 5,000 GP, level 7, Intellect 50): Dorothy Senjac (Anwyn Residence) in Mount Nighon (main town)
5 of 5: Grandmaster (requires 8,000 GP, level 10, Intellect 50): William Smithson in Evermorn Island (island to the west)
