What is this cauldron in the little Ogre camp way south of town good for?

2 of 4: The cauldrons, like the stat barrels, are an old holdover from all the way back to MM6, and work pretty much the same way they always have.
3 of 4: Namely, the stat barrels give small permanent increases to stats, and the cauldrons give small permanent increases to elemental resistances.
4 of 4: I always have my Cleric drink from the cauldrons. I figure that since he has to keep everyone else alive with his Self magic, he needs to keep himself alive, too, and should therefore have the highest resistances of anyone in the party. (Be sure to get him the Ring of Planes artifact from the Dark Dwarf Compound, too).
