Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer Hints

Should I hire this level 5 Dragon Ithilgore?

  • 1 of 7: Yes, yes, yes!
  • 2 of 7: He's just a beginner, but so were the rest of you when you started the game.
  • 3 of 7: And Ithilgore can be trained up a lot faster. You can easily make him a Great Wyrm with a GM in Dragon Ability before you leave Garrote Gorge.
  • 4 of 7: To start with, use the skill points he already has to make him a Dragon Ability expert.
  • 5 of 7: Then, if you saved up enough Horseshoes, use them on him to give him enough points to become a Dragon Ability master. Then he can fly you around outdoors, making a lot of things out there much easier to accomplish.
  • 6 of 7: All the Dragon Ability teachers are in this cave, as is the promoter of Dragons. That makes this your central Dragon station for quite awhile.
  • 7 of 7: Once you make Ithilgore a GM in Dragon Ability and Learning (and develop whatever other skills you want him to have), pump all future skill points into Dragon Ability to make his breath attack and Flame Blast spell even more powerful.
