How do I get past this horrible first room?
1 of 7: You have to be tough enough to kill all the Efreeti there.
2 of 7: That requires a lot of hit points and Fire Resistance.
3 of 7: Also, there are many floor pads that trigger a mega Sparks trap.
4 of 7: Lure all the Efreeti out to fight and kill before you venture onto the floor. (Note that you can kill a couple of them, exit to the Ravage Roaming countryside to heal up, come back in and kill another one, etc.)
5 of 7: When the Efreeti are all dead, heal up and run across the room fast!
6 of 7: If your Perception is 30 or better (level 10 master will do it), you can see the red trigger squares and can hop over them safely.
7 of 7: Or if you have a vampire in your party who can cast Levitate, you can just glide over the trapped floor tiles safely.
