2 of 3: I've found that by this time in the game, my characters were tough enough to run right up into the face of the Earth Elementals and Boulders and kill them in very short order.
3 of 3: That's much quicker, and usually results in less damage, than trying to duck in and out of range and shoot them with arrows and spells.
