Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer Hints

Knight to Champion

  • 1 of 9: Charles Quixote promotes Knights in the Dragon Hunter's Camp in Garrote Gorge.
  • 2 of 9: But first, you need to complete Leane Stormlance's quest of rescuing her father and Ebonest. She's in a small house just north of the Dragon Hunter's Camp.
  • 3 of 9: It turns out that both Blazen Stormlance and Ebonest are in the same place.
  • 4 of 9: It's in Shadowspire.
  • 5 of 9: Stormlance is all screwed up in the Mad Necromancer's Lab. You'll have to figure out how to cure him.
  • 6 of 9: Ebonest is in a chest in the very same lab. Be sure to pick it up.
  • 7 of 9: Once Stormlance is cured and in the Adventurer's Inn (or your party), talk to Leane to finish the quest and get her to become a hireling, too.
  • 8 of 9: If it doesn't seem to work, make sure you have the character who's carrying Ebonest selected when talking to Leane.
  • 9 of 9: Then go into the Dragon Hunter's Camp and talk to Quixote to hand over Ebonest and get your Knights promoted.
