Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer Hints
I found Arion Hunter, the smuggler leader. What good is he?
1 of 6: Plenty.
2 of 6: He'll give you two quests that you can fulfill for fun and profit.
3 of 6: Also, if you have the quest from Elgar Fellmoon to blackmail him, you can do that.
4 of 6: When you enter Hunter's throne room and talk to him, that basically makes this area a "friendly dungeon."
5 of 6: If there are leftover hostiles from before, they may still attack you, but friendly guards will be set up at three points (including at the secret door right near Hunter's door). If you push your way past them, they'll turn unfriendly, and a bunch of other guards will teleport in to attack you.
6 of 6: So raid the entire area before talking to Arion Hunter for the first time, whether you have the blackmail quest or not (unless you really want to make the guards mad and kill them all; I suppose that's okay, too).
