What good is this Accountant's Key I found on the desk in the north office?
- 1 of 10: It must be important, since the Honkies all turn hostile if you take it.
- 2 of 10: However, there doesn't seem to be anything to unlock anywhere in the temple.
- 3 of 10: You're not looking for a door, but for a set of buttons.
- 4 of 10: There are four large square buttons with goose symbols on them on the pedestal next to the big goldfish pond in the temple's entry area.
- 5 of 10: Those buttons are very finicky, and will only allow themselves to be pressed under very special circumstances.
- 6 of 10: You have to get the Accountant's Key and press the buttons the first time you enter the temple while on the quest to steal the Golden Honk. When you leave the temple, the buttons are reset and permanently unpushable whether you pushed them or not.
- 7 of 10: Pushing the buttons causes the four little short posts on the corners of the big goldfish pond to raise up a ways.
- 8 of 10: It's also interesting to note that after you push all four buttons the first time, all but the last one you pressed will pop back out. You can press them again to make them stay in.
- 9 of 10: As for what this does, I'm not sure. I've actually seen the accountant (the woman in the office) take the key and go out to the entry area. She didn't press the buttons, but made motions toward the nearby secret door that leads to the two treasure chests.
- 10 of 10: Due to this, I believe the key and buttons were intended to be the only way to open the secret treasury, but that a last-minute design change set the treasury door to be a regular secret door that you can open at any time.
