What are main line quests?
  • 1 of 4: They're the quests associated with the main plotline of the game.
  • 2 of 4: Like previous Might and Magic games, you don't have to finish all of the main line quests in order to get a lot of play value out of the game, but access to some regions often depends on completion of main line quests.
  • 3 of 4: You usually complete main line quests in sequential order, which is how I've listed them here. However, some larger quests such as uniting the clans have many sub-quests that can be done in various orders.
  • 4 of 4: Don't make the mistake of ignoring or putting off promotion or secondary quests because you're busy finishing a main line quest. It's usually possible and advisable to do those as they arise, even if it means waiting to finish the main line quest you're currently working on.
