I want to try the floor pentagram anyway. How do I do it?
  • 1 of 6: There's a diary scrap in the NE-most room of the ruins that gives you a clue as to what order to traverse the colors in.
  • 2 of 6: Pay attention to the capitalized color names in the scrap.
  • 3 of 6: Walk across the pentagram to activate its fires, then move onto the red corner, since it's the first color the scrap lists. You should hear a clicking sound.
  • 4 of 6: Now move carefully through the center of the pentagram to the yellow corner. You should hear another clicking sound (though you may not).
  • 5 of 6: From there, you can visit the blue, green, and orange corners in order, hopefully getting clicking sounds on each one.
  • 6 of 6: Even if you do, I don't know what good it would do you, unless there's no other way you can figure out to unlock the big doors nearby. If that's the case, then the pentagram may do that for you.
