  • 1 of 4: Explore the northern half of level 2 until you find the ladder that leads down.
  • 2 of 4: Take it down and explore the sewer-like tunnels until you find the manuscript washed up against a grate.
  • 3 of 4: Take it and go back up the ladder.
  • 4 of 4: You can now go return it for some experience, or go do the skeleton maze in the south half now if you're not in immediate need of healing or training.
