How do I play all these odd games at the Gathering?
- 1 of 8: Find the guy named Huckster, who's standing around in the middle of it all, and talk to him.
- 2 of 8: He's the one you buy tickets to play the games from, and he'll give you an instruction scroll if you don't have one.
- 3 of 8: WARNING: Make sure the person selected when you buy the tickets and when you play the games doesn't have a full or nearly-full inventory.
- 4 of 8: Double-click on the game instruction scroll in your inventory to read it.
- 5 of 8: Basically, this is just a buy-tickets-and-play-the-games-until-you-get-lucky scenario. Use save and restore appropriately to avoid wasting too much money.
- 6 of 8: Your goal is to win at least one of each of the following items: wooden sword, wooden shield, fur cap, cloth gloves, quilted armor, and fuzzy slippers.
- 7 of 8: The best strategy is to buy a batch of 10 tickets from Huckster, then find the bell-ringing game. Save in front of the game, play it 10 times, and then see if you have all six prize types. If not, restore and try again.
- 8 of 8: You can stop playing once you have all six prize items, but you can't trade them in to Thorir Mouth for the Capstone of Order until you know that you'll need it, which is pretty far along in the game. It's probably best to wait until then to play so that you don't have to carry the prize items around for half the game.
