Might and Magic IX Hints
Initiate to Healer
1 of 11: This quest is given to you by Tjolnir the Super-neat in the temple in Guberland City (but only if you volunteer at least one initiate for promotion).
2 of 11: Tjolnir told you who to talk to about the Nutty Nurtigan problem.
3 of 11: Go to the apothecary/library shop in the SE part of town and speak to Njalssen there.
4 of 11: He'll say that he needs a lock of hair from the old hag that drove Nurtigan nutty.
5 of 11: The old hag's lair is a small cave that's a ways NW of the city.
7 of 11: He'll tell you to wait two hours for him to make a potion out of it, but you really only have to wait a few minutes.
8 of 11: Talk to Njalssen again to get the potion, then go find the Nutty One himself.
9 of 11: He's in a tiny jail cell next to the town hall building, which is in the center of the city.
10 of 11: Talk to him and tell him to drink the potion.
11 of 11: Now go report success to Tjolnir, and anyone you had designated for promotion will become a healer. (The quest isn't taken off the list if you got the hag's hair before getting the quest, but you're done anyway.)
