  • 1 of 16: This is the second of the two quests that Markel the Great gives you to do before he'll join the alliance.
  • 2 of 16: You can find Ivan in the Gathering, which is the big open-air game area south of Guberland City.
  • 3 of 16: He'll be standing around near Thorir Mouth.
  • 4 of 16: Talk to Ivan and challenge him to a trivia contest.
  • 5 of 16: He'll ask you a bunch of questions that you'll need to answer correctly.
  • 6 of 16: They're multiple choice, so you could guess.
  • 7 of 16: Or you could go around and talk to people in various regions to find out the answers.
  • 8 of 16: Or you could read the hints that follow, each of which gives away one answer in the order that you need them.
  • 9 of 16: Sturmford and Drangheim.
  • 10 of 16: Verhoffin.
  • 11 of 16: Hallenhalt.
  • 12 of 16: Hubris.
  • 13 of 16: Making magic items.
  • 14 of 16: He was murdered by his personal guards.
  • 15 of 16: Ivan the Smart.
  • 16 of 16: With those answers, he'll concede defeat, and you can return and announce victory to Markel to finish this quest.
