I've heard that there's an artifact item here somewhere. How do I get it?
  • 1 of 9: Have you thoroughly searched all the rooms and treasure chests in the castle?
  • 2 of 9: That gets you some good stuff, but certainly no artifacts.
  • 3 of 9: You need to find a secret passage.
  • 4 of 9: Then explore the tunnels beyond it.
  • 5 of 9: You'll eventually come to a large cave with several Winged Mutants in it.
  • 6 of 9: It's best to get the mutants' attention while at the cave mouth so you have room to retreat and fight them without worrying about falling in the water.
  • 7 of 9: Then jump along the little bridge pieces to get over to the east end, where there's a black chest waiting for you.
  • 8 of 9: It takes a Disarm Trap skill of level 7 expert to open the chest safely. Inside, you'll find the artifact bow called Everstrike.
  • 9 of 9: It's a truly cool bow, but only rangers and priests can use it, so don't bother coming and getting it unless you're on the promo quest for rangers (or have a priest) or just want the fun and experience of killing all those tough monsters.
