Notes and Extras
  • 1 of 6: In the big room with the chandelier, there are two pillars that have ladders on them. One of the ladders leads up to a treasure chest.
  • 2 of 6: You can break holes in the westmost big crate in the crate room to find a black chest. It requires a 10 in Disarm Trap (level 5 expert) and has an artifact item.
  • 3 of 6: There are two stat barrels in the same crate room the black chest is in.
  • 4 of 6: Every time you exit and reenter the Training Hall, it regenerates all of the monsters and treasure. That includes the black chest, so plunder it for artifacts over and over again!
  • 5 of 6: To truly pump the black chest for artifacts, you must have the Lloyd's Beacon spell. Set a beacon inside the crate so that the regenerating lizard guys won't see you when you teleport in. Then you can teleport in via Lloyd's Beacon anytime and raid the chest to get another artifact. What a gimmick!
  • 6 of 6: You can also set a beacon in the crate room and teleport in and out over and over again to get lots of stat increases from the two barrels in the room. (Though note that it's hard to get to both barrels without the lizard guys seeing you.)
