What's the point of this whole mountain pass thing?
1 of 4: The point is that it's a land route from Thronheim to Thjorgard (and vice versa).
2 of 4: However, it's chock full of semi-tough monsters and needs to be cleared out before anyone else can use it.
3 of 4: Traveling through it from one end to the other is a main line quest that you get from Kira the Cold in Thronheim City.
4 of 4: You don't have to search every nook and cranny and kill every single thing to fulfill the quest, but why not do it anyway?
