Fighter to Mercenary
  • 1 of 9: Thorfinn Skullsplitter in the Thronheim City tavern gives you this quest.
  • 2 of 9: Sigmundssen and his daughter are standing around just outside the Gathering in Guberland.
  • 3 of 9: Talk to him and say that you'll guard his boat.
  • 4 of 9: He'll tell you to be there at 3 AM to relieve the previous watch.
  • 5 of 9: So do whatever until the next time 3 AM rolls around, and make sure you get to the docks before 3:15.
  • 6 of 9: The regular guard will walk off, and you will be on guard duty until 6 AM.
  • 7 of 9: Use the rest screen's feature to wait 1 hour a couple of times, and a bunch of Bandits will show up.
  • 8 of 9: Kill them and then finish your watch.
  • 9 of 9: Talk to Atli one last time to finish the quest and get any fighters you had tagged for promotion turned into official mercenaries.
