How do I get the artifact spear Gungnir?
  • 1 of 7: It's hidden in a black chest in a secret location.
  • 2 of 7: That location is in the SE section of the area.
  • 3 of 7: Check out the Map of the SE Section to see where the three good secret push-books are (they're shown with little red squares). If you don't have Perception enough to see them, then SPACEBAR around in their vicinity until you accidentally activate them.
  • 4 of 7: The purple squares show where the push-books' secrets are opened.
  • 5 of 7: The room with the large purple rectangle is the one with the black chest.
  • 6 of 7: There are a lot of push-books in this room (one of which topples the bookshelves, which is bad), but the only one that does you any good is marked on the map. (Note that you can't see it glow red unless your Perception is level 5 expert or better, but you can find it by looking for a stick-out book where the map shows.)
  • 7 of 7: The black chest contains Gungnir, but it requires a Disarm Trap skill of 25 (level 9 master) to open safely.
