Might and Magic IX Hints

Scholar to Lich

  • 1 of 5: Skulkil the Dark starts you off on this quest. He's standing near the center of Frosgard City. (Note that this quest doesn't appear on your quest list until you get the second part of the Lich Instructions.)
  • 2 of 5: He gives you the first of two scrolls that have instructions for becoming a lich on them.
  • 3 of 5: The second scroll is in the Chasm of the Dead in Drangheim.
  • 4 of 5: Once you have both scrolls, head over to the Lich Lab in Yorwick and use the facilities there to perform the process.
  • 5 of 5: NOTE: You don't actually have to have either instruction scroll to become a lich. Just follow the directions for doing things in the Lich Lab, and everything will work out just fine.
