Where is the Thjorad artifact that I'm supposed to snatch?
  • 1 of 8: It's in the NE corner of the main monastery square.
  • 2 of 8: However, it's surrounded by four monks, one of whom is blocking the artifact from your grabby fingers.
  • 3 of 8: You could attack them and take Thjorad, but then the monks would all be mad at you, and even the two important quest-giving ones would attack you on sight. You could do this and then fix things up, but it's a bit complicated.
  • 4 of 8: If you talk to the kneeling monks, you'll learn that they're always there except when the bells call them to prayer.
  • 5 of 8: That'll never happen on its own, so you'll need to go do it.
  • 6 of 8: Once you've played the bells in the right order, head on down to the ground floor and over to where Thjorad is.
  • 7 of 8: The monks move very slowly, so there's no need to hurry. Just amble on over and snatch the mystical hammer at your leisure.
  • 8 of 8: NOTE: When you leave and reenter the monastery after taking Thjorad, it'll appear to be back in its case, but you can't take it again. However, you may be able to get one more Thjorad after the monastery regenerates (which will happen about 30 days after you first enter it). You'll have to kill the monks around the Thjorad case to get to it, so make sure you've completed all of the local quests first.
