What skills should I start the game with?
- 1 of 6: Look over the list you're given carefully.
- 2 of 6: Read up on skills on pages 41-45 of the player manual.
- 3 of 6: Any of you who've played the three previous Might and Magic games know that the Bow skill is always a good one to start out with (you're even given a bow in your starting inventory that you can ready).
- 4 of 6: For your initiates, the other chosen skill besides Bow should be Light so they both can cast the Heal spell right away.
- 5 of 6: For the fighters, Perception and Merchant are good starting skills. (Give one of those to each fighter if you start off with two.)
- 6 of 6: If you want to, look over the Skill Table and see if you'd prefer something different (but remember that you can get free skill books for Disarm Trap and Identify Item as soon as you start the game).
