The Secret of Monkey Island Hints

Crew Member #2 (Moderate)

  • 1 of 11: You need a crew member who's big...
  • 2 of 11: And strong...
  • 3 of 11: And has a talking tattoo.
  • 4 of 11: Talk to Meathook.  He lives in the house at the yellow light (labeled "Shore" or "Island") on the general map of Melee.
  • 5 of 11: Like every other crew member you'll get, he doesn't know that the Governor was kidnapped by LeChuck.
  • 6 of 11: Like every other crew member you'll get, tell him about Elaine's abduction.
  • 7 of 11: Maybe he'll be on your crew.
  • 8 of 11: Why don't you offer him a position?
  • 9 of 11: He'll want you to prove yourself first.
  • 10 of 11: He wants you to touch the murderous beast that gave him hooks for hands.
  • 11 of 11: So open the door, and touch it.  The rest is automatic.
