1 of 8: There aren't any shortcuts. You'll need to raise the money to pay her.
2 of 8: The money is going to come from an unlikely source.
3 of 8: An item that belonged to the pirate who killed LeChuck has to be worth something.
4 of 8: You need to sell some of your own memorabilia at the store on Booty Island.
5 of 8: Something that's yet another indicator of your greatness.
8 of 8: Once you win the spitting contest, take your plaque and give it to the owner of the memorabilia store. In the dialogue that follows, you'll sell it for 6,000 pieces of eight, which happens to be exactly the price of chartering the ship.
