1 of 7: Just try walking back into his mansion and see if you can get it from him. You can talk your way past his guard fairly trivially.
2 of 7: Pick up the book and see what happens.
3 of 7: Phatt notices the difference in weight when you try picking up the book.
4 of 7: So replace the book with something of equal weight.
5 of 7: Like another book.
6 of 7: Just check out any random book from the library, and switch it with the book on top of Phatt.
7 of 7: If for whatever reason, you realize that you needed that other random book, you can always repeat the process to get it.
