How do I kill LeChuck?

  • 1 of 16: There are only a few items available to you in this part of the game.  See if you can put them together to make something that might help you with LeChuck.
  • 2 of 16: Rum was pretty explosive earlier in the game.
  • 3 of 16: It still is -- use that as the base of a bomb.
  • 4 of 16: But you also need a fuse for the bomb.
  • 5 of 16: There's some fallen rope on the Hermann Toothrott scene.
  • 6 of 16: It's not flammable enough, though.
  • 7 of 16: Look for something else flammable.
  • 8 of 16: The flask of oil in the lantern on the torture scene will work.
  • 9 of 16: Now, dip the rope in oil, and put the fuse in the keg to make an exploding rum keg.  Then, look for a place where you can put the bomb.
  • 10 of 16: Go to the Snow Monkey scene, and put the bomb in the Snow Monkey's arm.
  • 11 of 16: Your final task is to figure out how to light the fuse.
  • 12 of 16: LeChuck is blowing fire at you whenever he sees you.  (Note: he will not appear if you're at the top of the Snow Monkey screen -- come down closer to the tracks.)
  • 13 of 16: But his aim is too good -- he'd never hit the rope in his present condition.
  • 14 of 16: Try to make him blow fire before he's ready.
  • 15 of 16: A good sneeze would do the trick.
  • 16 of 16: Use the pepper mill on him.  If the bomb is in place, the ride will blow, and Guybrush will escape to a happy ending.
