Escape from Monkey Island Hints
How can I get in the middle of the lava area?
1 of 4: Note that the lava is flowing from the cathedral on the hill. Go up there and check it out.
2 of 4: You'll see some logs traveling along that lava, making a lava-flume ride. You won't be able to just hop in, though.
3 of 4: Walk to the front of the cathedral, where you'll meet the ghost of Father Allegro Rasputin. Ask him about the river of lava a couple of times, then tell him you want to try it. (You'll have to ask twice.)
4 of 4: Once you're in your lava boat, you should be able to steer it, but only when the path forks. Just use the LEFT and RIGHT keys to do so.
