How do I get Timmy to follow me?
1 of 7: Perhaps you could use something to lure him.
2 of 7: What do monkeys like best?
3 of 7: Bananas. You'll find some by the beach where you first arrived.
4 of 7: But you'll need to find something to help you reach the bananas.
5 of 7: Use the banana picker to get the bananas. (You'll find the banana picker leaning against a cactus in the canyon.) If you use it three times, you'll get the whole bunch.
6 of 7: Now, give a banana to Timmy and he'll follow you for a while.
7 of 7: Any time you go from the overhead map to a location, Timmy will stay at that location unless you feed him again. Don't worry about running out of bananas -- once you have a bunch, you can never run out.
