How do I create the perpetrator's scent?
1 of 12: Pegnose Pete dropped a hanky in the bank vault. If you use it, you can tell that it has Pete's unique scent on it.
2 of 12: Dave could ordinarily just smell the hanky to pick up the scent, but he has a cold, so you'll have make something a lot stronger for him to smell.
3 of 12: Where on the island can you find someone who makes scents?
4 of 12: Go to the perfume seller and grab one of the spare spritzers.
5 of 12: Now, you need to construct the scent from various smelly things around the island. You can get an idea of what scents you need by trying to match your scent to the weaker sample you already have.
6 of 12: Keep smelling the hanky, and you'll get several different descriptions. Some of the descriptions really just say the same thing, so you won't need as many ingredients as there are descriptions.
7 of 12: There are 4 ingredients in all.
8 of 12: The ingredients are, in no particular order,
9 of 12: a piece of free bait from the bait shop,
10 of 12: some water from the puddle by the swamp,
11 of 12: the flower in front of Ozzie's house,
