A note about the colors...
Although some particular details are the same no matter what color you choose, the solution depends on the color you choose. I've divided the hints up into colors, so pick the color you chose at the beginning, and read on. Each time starts the same, so these sections start after you've washed up from your trip, and are waiting for dinner to start.
