How do the flares work?
1 of 7: The controls for the flares are on the stern (rear) of the ship and up the steps.
2 of 7: Can you see the distress balloon in the viewer?
3 of 7: Position the gun correctly and launch the flares.
4 of 7: Settings for both the flare gun and the viewer are identical.
5 of 7: Set each to the 7th one down and the 6th one across from left to right.
6 of 7: Pull the launch switch down.
7 of 7: When the flares hit the balloon, the distress pod will be released.
