Morpheus Hints

What is the object of the Painting Puzzle?

  • 1 of 14: Find the ten paintings, which will appear automatically when you return here.
  • 2 of 14: Search behind the blue doors.
  • 3 of 14: The object is to arrange the pictures in a specific order.
  • 4 of 14: Beginning with the original stationary one, the paintings tell a story from left to right.
  • 5 of 14: The best clue I can give you is to study the edges and backgrounds for each painting rather than the subject matter.
  • 6 of 14: Each one overlaps slightly into the ones on either side of it.
  • 7 of 14: When you complete the puzzle correctly, all of the paintings will play in movie fashion.
  • 8 of 14: Put the painting with the sitting girl next to the stationary one.  Notice how the buildings in the background and the corners join.
  • 9 of 14: The dancing girl is next followed by the one with the bodies.
  • 10 of 14: Two people in front of the mountains occupy the next two spots.
  • 11 of 14: The mountain overlaps onto a scene with a stripe at the bottom.
  • 12 of 14: The stripe occupies the next scene with the kneeling man.
  • 13 of 14: The next two frames contain the man with the turban.
  • 14 of 14: The last painting is the cloudy one.
