The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints

Get ingredients for amulets.

  • 1 of 10: Talk to Quarra about "use to me" and "raw materials" to get this next quest.
  • 2 of 10: You're to find five extravagant sapphire amulets, two portions of void salt, a Daedra's heart, a portion of ectoplasm, a portion of vampire dust, and a skull.
  • 3 of 10: You can get those items in many different places (ingredients can be stolen from many shops), but I'll list some specific ones that you can go to, provided you haven't already looted the joints.
  • 4 of 10: There are three sapphire amulets in crates in Yasamsi (location 30 on the Balmora map) and two more in crates on the Obscure Shipwreck (location 22 on the Ald Redaynia map).
  • 5 of 10: Also, you can get sapphire amulets by killing various guys, including:

        Cienne Sintieve in the alchemy shop in Ald'ruhn's Manor District
        Miner Arobar in Arobar Manor in Ald'ruhn
        Domesea Sarethi in Sarethi Manor in Ald'ruhn
  • 6 of 10: As for the potion ingredients, vampire dust can be gotten by killing vampires from the two rival clans of Berne and Aundae. You'll have to bump off a bunch of them for Quarra's last quest, anyway.
  • 7 of 10: You can buy the other ingredients from shops run by mages or Telvanni, or can steal them from other shops.
  • 8 of 10: As for the skull, they're really quite common, though it may not seem like it now that you're after one for a quest. They can be found lying around many tombs and other dungeons, and are in some wizardly homes and shops on display.
  • 9 of 10: Some particular places you might try are in Surane Leoriane's locked bedroom in Caldera and just outside the Arano Ancestral Tomb (location 5 on the Bal Fell map).
  • 10 of 10: When you return with all the stuff, Quarra will give you an amulet that you can use to teleport back to HQ from anywhere.
