The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Meet Sul-Matuul
1 of 12: The next time you talk to Cosades about orders, he'll tell you the big secret behind your mysterious pardon from the emperor and why you were sent to Vvardenfell. He'll also give you a decoded version of the package you delivered to him in the first main quest.
2 of 12: You're now to go to the Urshilaku Ashlander Camp in the Ald Redaynia region and talk to the ashkhan (chief) and wise woman there.
3 of 12: Before you go, take Cosades' advice to visit the Moonmoth Legion Fort and talk to Somutis Vunnis and Crulius Pontanian about "essential supplies" to get some free stuff.
4 of 12: Then take the boats or silt striders to Khuul and head NE to get to Ald Redaynia. The camp you seek is at location 1 on the Ald Redaynia map.
5 of 12: When you arrive, don't just stride boldly into the ashkhan's or wise woman's yurts. They don't like it when you do that.
6 of 12: Sul-Matuul wants you to find his father's spirit in the Urshilaku Burial Caverns and get his bow from him.
7 of 12: You can find the entrance to the Astral Burial area a ways south and east of the camp (location 12 on the map).
8 of 12: There are lots of neat treasures you can pick up in the burial caverns, but all you have to do is make your way through the Astral Burial to the Karma Burial to the Laterus Burial to the Juno Burial. You'll find the wraith you want at the far SE end of Juno Burial.
9 of 12: After killing it and taking the bow from its remains, return to Sul-Matuul to be made a Clanfriend in the Ashlander faction.
10 of 12: He'll also refer you to Nibani Maesa in the wise woman's yurt, so go talk to her next.
11 of 12: Choose all of her conversation topics, especially "pass the test" and "lost prophecies." Recovering those is going to be a quest a little further along.
12 of 12: For now, though, you're done, so return to Cosades in Balmora to report.
