The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
J'Dhannar's Addiction
of 10: Share a care with Ahnassi again to learn that her former mate, J'Dhannar, is addicted to skooma. They're separated now, but she still cares enough about him to want to help him.
of 10: If you find J'Dhannar in the St. Olms Canalworks in Vivec and talk to him about it, he'll just snarl at you and say there is no cure.
of 10: Why not get a second opinion?
of 10: Ask any healer or savant (such as Vaval Selas in the St. Olms Temple on the plaza level) about a cure, and they'll mention a book called "Confessions of a Skooma-Eater" that was supposedly written by someone who managed to kick the habit.
of 10: As usual with book-getting quests, Jobasha's shop in the Foreign Quarter Lower Waistworks is a good place to go.
of 10: You can buy the book from him for a few gold or steal it from the chest labeled "Chest of Books for General Sale."
of 10: Go back to J'Dhannar and talk to him about a cure after getting his disposition up to 50, and he'll take the book and promise to read it.
of 10: Return to Ahnassi and share a care to learn that J'Dhannar has stopped using skooma and has returned to the Khajiit home province of Elswyr. Good for him!
of 10: Ahnassi also gives you a key to her house and invites you to come over. You should, since that's where she'll be from now on (after you exit the tavern).
of 10: Her house can be used as a sort of base of operations here in Pelagiad. She'll let you sleep there, take anything you want, and leave stuff there for safekeeping.
