Catch a Spy
  • 1 of 8: Athrys' last quest has you searching the Mages Guilds for a Telvanni spy.
  • 2 of 8: Ask around at the various guilds, using the "Telvanni spy" dialogue option.
  • 3 of 8: The guild you want is the one in Vivec.
  • 4 of 8: Talk to Trebonius Artorius about the spy, then ask him about Tiram Gadar.
  • 5 of 8: Ask about Gadar's credentials to get that document.
  • 6 of 8: It's a blatant forgery, and it's all the proof you need.
  • 7 of 8: Return to Athrys with it to get two Scrolls of Summon Golden Saint and a really great enchanted Daedric dagger called Soul Drinker. It nicely automates the process of capturing enemies' soul power when you kill them.
  • 8 of 8: ALTERNATIVE: If Itermerel and Ashibael survived the quests that involved them, you'll have the option of telling Artorius that Athrys is the Telvanni spy. That will get rid of that kill-happy quest giver, but it won't get you the scrolls or cool dagger and therefore isn't recommended.
