Wizard for Hire
1 of 8: Helende's next quest is similar to the ones other Thieves Guild quest-givers have for bolstering local defenses.
2 of 8: She wants you to get a wizard to help defend the cornerclub, so go to the Mages Guild in Wolverine Hall and see if anyone's interested in taking the job.
3 of 8: If you talk to Arielle Phiencel about "hire a wizard," she'll say that she knows someone who would help, but you'll need to get her four pieces of raw ebony first.
4 of 8: You can always get the stuff at the many ebony mines in different regions, or you can sneakily unlock the door to the upper level of the Elf-Skerring ship at the local docks.
5 of 8: Travel down to its lower level and search the containers to find ebony.
6 of 8: Take four pieces of it to Phiencel to complete her quest (and sell the rest elsewhere).
7 of 8: ALTERNATIVE: If you have enough money, you can just buy the ebony from Anis Seloth in her alchemist's shop near the north edge of town.
8 of 8: Then return to Big Helende to get your reward of a Dire Shardbolt ring.
