The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
The Sad Sorcerer
of 10: Palansour is a very odd bandit cave in that it's not the bandits you'll be fighting. As a matter of fact, you'll be helping them (or at least the one that survived).
of 10: Enter the cave through either entrance and make your way to the main cave room where three Scamps and an Ogrim are making meals out of the bandits they've killed.
of 10: After killing them off, look up to see a cage door on a ledge way up high.
of 10: You'll need to cast the Levitate spell or use a potion or scroll that does the same thing to get up there.
of 10: If you're all out of levitating items, then search the cave for Potions of Rising Force.
of 10: There are two on a table in a nearby cave room, plus one more on top of the large rock that two skeletons are hanging on.
of 10: Before you levitate up to the gate, you might want to get the key that's sitting on a plate in the room with the two hanging skeletons.
of 10: Levitate up to the gate and open it with the key.
of 10: Talk to the guy behind the gate with at least one Rising Force potion in your inventory to get a list of choices.
of 10: He offers you the pitiful clothes the Scamps made him wear, but you shouldn't take them. Not only are they not very valuable, but you get a +1 to your Reputation if you refuse to take them.
