The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints

Get a cure to corprus.

  • 1 of 13: When you report back after killing Dagoth Gares, Cosades promotes you to Traveler and tells you to travel to Tel Fyr for a cure to your corprus disease.
  • 2 of 13: Go to Tel Aruhn by boat, then head south to Tel Fyr, which is at location 4 on the Tel Aruhn map.
  • 3 of 13: After entering Tel Fyr's Onyx Hall, find the door leading to the Hall of Fyr, then levitate up a floor to find Divayth Fyr, the guy who runs the place.
  • 4 of 13: Give him the Dwemer Coherer that Cosades gave you to raise his disposition, then ask him about corprus disease.
  • 5 of 13: Say that you may fulfill the Nerevarine prophecies, and Fyr will be fascinated enough to help you.
  • 6 of 13: But only after you visit the Corprusarium and get some boots from a guy down there.
  • 7 of 13: Return to Onyx Hall and find the door to the Corprusarium.
  • 8 of 13: The corprus guys in here are hostile, but it's just a short jog north to a door to the Corprusarium Bowels, which is where you want to go. None of the corprus creeps in the Bowels area will attack you. (And don't forget that you're forbidden to attack any of them in either area.)
  • 9 of 13: Note that you could go down the east branch of the main Corprusarium area to find a guar hide drum that you could give to Uupse Fyr in the Bowels to calm all the corprus guys down. However, this isn't useful unless you haven't plundered the local treasures yet, and want to now.
  • 10 of 13: You'll find the dwarven spider freak that is Yagrum Bagarn next to Uupse Fyr in the Bowels area. Talk to him about the boots to get them. (Since he's supposedly the only surviving dwarf from the old days, you could talk to him about the disappearance of the dwarves, too, but it's not necessary.)
  • 11 of 13: Return to Fyr's room and hand over the boots.
  • 12 of 13: Agree to drink his potion right there in front of him, and he'll let you have it.
  • 13 of 13: Fortunately, it'll work, curing all the negative symptoms of the corprus disease, but leaving the one good symptom: immunity to diseases. Head back to Balmora to tell Cosades the good news.
