The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints

The Lady's Ring

  • 1 of 7: You'll find the "lady," Synette Jeline, at location 11 on the Gnisis map.
  • 2 of 7: Talk to her to learn that her ring has fallen into the nearby pond of water.
  • 3 of 7: Be a good little sucker...I mean, hero and jump down there and retrieve it for her.
  • 4 of 7: As soon as you pick up the ring, she and her invisible companion will start attacking you.
  • 5 of 7: Hop on up there and kill them both for being such jerks.
  • 6 of 7: Loot their bodies to find some gold and an Amulet of Shadows on the inviso-girl, which is apparently what she used to make herself invisible. Now it's yours!
  • 7 of 7: NOTE: If you have trouble finding the ring, you could just skip it and kill Jeline and the shadowy gal. If her amulet is the main thing you're after, then look toward the tree that's just a short distance to the east of Jeline. You should be able to make out the woman's shadowy outline, and can attack her.
